This is the video we made in celebration of our friend Harold Hopkins. We hope you enjoy, seek out and revisit his work. We miss you mate. x
Our dear friend Harold passed away in the early hours of this morning during the lunar eclipse.
Harold was one of Blue-Tongue Films’ very first supporters. He backed us from the very beginning, trusting us enough to jump on board to play the father in our ultra low-budget short film BLOODLOCK in 1996, and has been an amazing friend ever since.
Harold was a wonderful actor, a generous soul and a very special man. We are very sad to see him go and know that we won’t get to see all the creativity he still had to offer.
Do yourself a favour and watch him in any of these Australian classics: THE CLUB, DON’S PARTY, BUDDIES, GALLIPOLI, THE YEAR MY VOICE BROKE, THE PICTURE SHOW MAN, MONKEY GRIP, THE AGE OF CONSTENT… to name a few.
We miss you already mate. xxx
Directed by Kieran Darcy-Smith. Written by Kieran Darcy-Smith & Felicity Price.
Produced by Angie Fielder.
Starring Joel Edgerton, Teresa Palmer, Felicity Price & Antony Starr.
